Take a minute to just notice how you are feeling right now. How are you emotionally? How does your body feel? Are you thinking about something? Whatever is there is ok, just take a moment to listen to yourself. As simple as it may sound, sometimes feeling our feelings can be hard work. Truly understanding and being honest with authentic selves can be challenging and sometimes scary. No one should have to do this alone. I believe that the first step to getting to explore and know yourself, is first to establish a safe place to come home to. My belief is that everyone already has the seeds of what they need inside of them. Together, we can deeply listen and nurture your authentic self to help you heal and grow.
I believe everything is interconnected. When we hurt in one area of our lives, often times the other areas hurt with it. Because of this, I work with the mind, body, and spirit. I have a focus on what your system and body naturally want to express of what is leftover from the past and how it is showing up. In this, I utilize a combination of talk therapy and experiential healing in the here and now to support you in your growth. Additionally, I will help you gain emotional and physical awareness through mindfulness tools, so you can deeply attune to your true self.
You can expect from me, that I care deeply about inviting you in as a full person from a place of non-judgment. I want to know who you are and where you came from. It is not uncommon for people to feel shame about areas of who they are or how they feel. I strive to create a warm and safe environment, where we can build a trusting relationship that allows you to feel safe to be vulnerable and explore. Together, we are not just talking; we are experiencing. In this, I believe true transformation can happen.
