Struggling with anxiety and/or depression and looking for help out? Old wounds coming up from the past and affecting your current relationships? Struggling with PTSD symptoms from a traumatic experience and needing some real support? I'm here to help. I can help you identify the root of your issues and work it out from angles that help you find real relief. Providing tools and exercises for you to feel supported and well-resourced both inside and outside of session, we can work together to create a treatment program that works for you as an individual. In a warm, safe space, we'll begin finding long term solutions to your struggles.
I create a warm, safe container for clients to relax and open up in. Working from a psychodynamic approach - looking at the whole experience that has lead you to your current state, I work analytically, somatically (with the body), relationally, and mindfully. Meditation and other embodiment techniques allow for deeper integration of material and relief from uncomfortable symptoms that often come with suffering. I incorporate more alternative, creative and psycho-spiritual interventions where appropriate, dependent on the client's unique approach to the healing work.
Some more alternative practices that have arose in session include - self-focusing/inner journeying meditations, poetry and songwriting, insight/visualization exercises, and somatic experiencing.
