Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #99100
Supervised by Laura Parker LMFT #37654
I support clients who feel stuck in some way and are looking to build their own resiliency, build meaningful relationships, and live the life you wish to live. I help you navigating whatever life’s challenges may be getting in your way—repetitive patterns, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse, indecision, or simply feeling like some sort of change is needed in your life. I work with individuals, couples, families and adolescent in developing your own resilience and wisdom. I believe that our social/cultural context significantly shapes our lives—both how we see others and how the world views us. I value the rich diversity or human experiences and hold a culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
I offer an integrative approach that is tailored for to meet your specific needs. I drawl from a plethora of modalities such as: mindfulness, psychodynamics, somatic therapy, systems theory, experiential therapy, all backed by trauma informed practices—creating a holistic approach that welcomes all parts of you.
I believe in the healing power of relationships as the main healing agent in therapy. Attachment theory and neuroscience research tells us that this is the biggest marker in effective therapy—the quality of the relationship between client/therapist. We cannot grow and change unless we have an attuned and supportive environment to transform in.
